I only read Da vinci's code and it was sure an interesting book. I read it long ago though, in highschool. I might very well give it another go.

    Interesting. :-\

david ellefson's book, and taking my sweet time with it too, I read it every time I take a dump..lol

good book , easy read but I guess its just not super interesting, besides, I know everything about megadeth from Dave's book and otherwise anyway so I'm mostly interested in his time away and his perspective on the split.. i want to get to that part

thinking about getting a few military books though, I love reading about that stuff :o

I'm reading a Portuguese book, the name in English I guess would be "The remorses of Baltazar Serapião".. basically, the author, valter hugo mãe, manages to use current language in a very folksy way to make it seem like the story is set in an ancient time, could be as far as middle ages to 19th century-early 20th..

it's about a poor family, they work for a rich man/estate owner/feudal lord (depending on your interpretation of the novel's time), the older kid gets an arranged marriage, and basically it's about the history of patriarchy.. it's mostly his thoughts on women, on how the woman is incapable of thought, should do the husband's bidding, etc..in a way you can say it's violent, because fuck, the author can portray disgusting male chauvinism quite well. :S First time the guy's wife arrives home late from work he mangles her leg for good because he thinks she's fucking the boss. very visceral stuff so far, primal..but since the book has the title it has, I guess he comes around in the end? :tard2:

That sounds pretty interesting. I remember that i read a few novels of this sort in high-school, for the literature course.
I'm to the begin of "The Idiot" and it impressed me the description of the execution. :yesyes:
