An integral part of the experience was watching one episode per week, then discussing with friends about what was going on and what's going to happen next. This would be lost (no pun intended) if one would just marathon the whole series now, when it's already finished.

    2. House of Cards
Simply riveting. Great production value and Kevin Spacey is great in it as well. Was used to him being a "funny guy" before this show, but he's proven to be truly a great actor.

    3. To balance the hour-long shows with season-long story arcs, I'll now mention Futurama, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Bored to Death, all of which are really good.

Portuguese humour show, each episode had a theme, displayed like an encyclopedia entry. It had recurring blocks of sketches. The most striking character is the one above, Deacon Rem├â┬®dios who was like the Viewer's Complaints Representative (I don't know the expression in English) and always interrupted sketches when he thought they had gone too far and were immoral and not pleasing to Jeebus. The funny part here is he'd ramble on and on to end up saying something like " next thing you know, they'll come up with x, y or z", in essence coming up with something more outrageous than the actual sketch and undermining his own point and showing how deep down he was more perverse than everyone else :P
