The longest book that you have read?

    I am talking about standard A4 format pages:) I've read a book that was 1200 pages long (twice:) ) for an exam. The name of the book - The history of law :)

    Don't know :shrug: But I read loong books. Mostly history ones for exams. Also fiction. Does whole LOTR trilogy in one book format counts? :tard2:

    I think it was Peter the Great: His Life and World by Robert K. Massie. I remember reading that book in highschool and it seemed neverending. :|
    The Brothers Karamazov was also a long one, but really enjoyable. Pages were flying down ...


    I don't remember something else. :o

    Always wanted to get started with Marcel Proust's "In Search of Lost Time", that surely would beat any record of mine. Must be a good read as well :)

    The Swedish translated edition has like 1007 pages or whatever. :O

    I just remembered the longest book I ever read was "Executive orders" by Tom Clancy. It was like 1300+ pages.

    I used to read short stories, but the longest book i have read is Dalai llama "The Art of Happiness"
