No need for an explanation so here we go:

So if a hypothetical band released these albums in this order what would you thing of the band's work?

    Load (Metallica) (debut album)
    Reload (Metallica)
    Risk (Megadeth)
America's Volume Dealer (Corrosion Of Conformity)
    Super Collider (Megadeth)

I'm not familiar with the CoC album, but I'd have to say mediocre.
Load and Reload have several good-to-very good songs, but they're surrounded by filler, Risk has two or three worthy songs at best, and Super Collider is too tame.

I absolutely love Risk and really like America's Volume Dealer. Super Collider is good and half or Load and Reload are good so I'd say that "band" would have a pretty decent output with one really great album.

no idea about CoC but I probably wouldn't have bothered checking out any new Megs after that. :P
