This is the place to post guitarists that just blow you away and/or have been influences of favorites of yours.

Here's Tosin Abasi, when I was looking into the 8 string I searched on YouTube and found a couple of dudes who just played the lower register strings and didn't utilize the whole guitar and then I saw Tosin Abasi and just by looks I didn't think he'd be any good and, WHOA! Dude just blew me away!

Scott "Wino" Weinrich (The Obsessed, St. Vitus, Spirit Caravan, The Hidden Hand, Premonition 13, Shrinebuilder, Wino, Wino & Conny Ochs) is one of my top 3 guitarists of all time. Excellent tone and style.

Man, that Joel Hoekstra is a beast! I'm a HUGE fan of both Mayer and Trucks and what I dig the most is how John is making guitar faces to Derek's playing.
Lee Wrathe is amazing! I dig that Middle Eastern stuff. As for the rest I will watch after I get back home. Thx for this beer!

I can't find too many lessons from this guy but Jeff Martin (The Tea Party) is another fave of mine.

Seeing how they are in my state of Colorado I may look 'em up!!!

    Hoekstra is an animal

man, not sure if this is the one but there's one where BB offers Mayer a go after Trucks was done and he's like "no way, not after that".. killer stuff

Lee is amazing, check his channel out, he reviews a lot of gear and throws in the odd lesson or two, great guitarist

but my all time fav youtube guitar guy/channel is Rob Chapman, just a great show to watch, perfect for gear nerds and just as random entertainment too

despite what Yngwie says, sometimes less really is more.

Chet Atkins was such a master at chicken picking, great skill

Ah, Tommy Emmanuel. I never knew of him until a few years ago when he played at the university I work at. He's a kewl cat too.

All three are great guitarists but out of those 3 I really like McLaughlin's work. Especially the early Mahavishnu Orchestra stuff.

Pebber Brown does the blues :hb:

old vids, but I'd never seen these before. Pebber is an amazing instructor, and he's got by far the best material on youtube, uploads are rare but what he's already put up is tremendous.
