My first post here is a portrait of my grandmother.
My grandmother had a very difficult life, she raised 3 kids the best she could and she took care of me as good as she could. She worked hard in a hospital kitchen, physical work...
my grandfather left her when they were quite old for a divorce, you know ...at that age when you're comfortable together thinking okay, we made us a house, a home...
he was gone in no time to another woman. She lost half of her body weight, but fortunately she made it trough. Kinda. But you know, she's alone and she still suffers. Recently she went trough two hip surgeries, after breaking a bone. She made it trough.
Here is when we first met after probably two good years.

and here's one from yesterday
I just love what this camera can do.
Been having quite a few issues with it although i didn't expect at all, but if it would be to choose again i'd definitely go for the D750 over and over again
Nikon D750/ nikkor 50mm 1.8g- natural light one and a diffuser
Nice pics, you have a very photogenic family. #4 didn't come through on my computer.
Thank you, Sheolite. Yes, my mother is my no.1 model for practice. My grandmother is very much camera shy though and i was only able to get a few candid shots
it might have been this one, i don''t know why no 4 is broken https://500px.com/photo/127136749/portrait-by-iris-ford?ctx_page=1&from=user&user_id=12350751 or this https://500px.com/photo/128164049/portrait-by-iris-ford?ctx_page=1&from=user&user_id=12350751

I dig the beanie...
it's I.`s i just borrow it sometimes
it's so satisfying when i do a portrait. I can then clearly see the capabilities of my camera and put it in a full use
Holy shit! The cam really shows your beauty!
