    What covers you listened to first before the original version of the song?

    and yeah, most of the metallica cover albums I haven't bothered with checking the originals :o the motorhead ones are subpar, though.

    Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah is a cover of Leonard Cohen's same song. Except I really think Buckley made it his own.

    Santana's version of the Fleetwood Mac classic "Black Magic Woman", I really love Fleetwood Mac's version cuz it reminds me of the stuff Otis Rush, Buddy Guy, Magic Sam were playing while on Cobra Records in the mid to late '50s.

    Great whites cover of Led Zepplins Babe im gonna leave you. Great white does it better :hbd:
    Shinedowns version of Lynard Skynards Simple man Shinedown. version is damn good too.
    Slayers version of Judas Priests Dissendent aggressor they are both damn good. too close to call.
