Blueimac , nice HDR edit.
Was it a 3 different exposure picture or just an HDR touch on 1 photo ?

Thanks for sharing.

Elements. I love train stations, there's always so much to picture out there.
Used my Nikon D3200 with 50mm 1.8 G lens.

The Passenger Coach Car #136 was shot as a single image then using HDR editing, I first did a color HDR edit then decided to convert that to black and white

I really like how you take one simple part of what you see and create something extraordinary that captures the viewers imagination.

Are you shooting in black and white mode or converting them when editing ?

I haven't tried shooting in B&W mode or HDR yet - Guess it's time I started experimenting more

Vintage Memories

Vintage Memories - In addition to The Miami Auto Museum's outstanding collection of famous hollywood, television or rare cars and motorcycles there's a few other hidden treasures such as this beautiful old carousel (from French carrousel, from Italian carosello), or merry-go-round.

Getting a chance to photograph something like this was a rare treat for me and much credit goes to the museum for allowing me to get close enough to capture even more of it.

Thanks a lot, Blueimac. My spontaneous shots are sometimes the most liked.
As a matter of fact, i never shoot in BW. I shoot RAW and when i come home i make sure to check what works better :color, bw, sepia, hdr. I like it better that way cause i work better with contrast.

As about HDR, i sometimes shoot 3 different exposures, but most of the time i prefer a little bit of a PS6 hdr light fix. I think that works the best for some of my BW work.

We seem to have much in common when it comes to technique, I shoot only in RAW then when editing I usually do color first and depending on the image will make a B&W or Sepia ( sometimes both ) copy.

More of my shots are spontaneous than planned here in Miami, It's more difficult finding new ideas here then when I was living in Santa Barbara, California for almost a year.
