Do you have a favorite period when it comes to music? I think that the 70s were a great period for Rock music and I've got tons of songs that I like from that specific period.

70's --> great for rock, bluesrock, early prog. rock etc, late 70's --> NWOBHM
80's --> The start of thrash metal, moving on, Puppets, Peace Sells, etc, etc.
90's --> Commercializing metal, Black album, Youthanasia etc
00's --> Sellouts rise, Bibur, 50 Bucks etc, etc. But a great decade for metal music. Metalcore is born, yuck! Many bands are reborn (Heathen, Exodus etc).
10 --> Not much has changed, but Bibur is gone from the spotlight

I hate metalcore. But I think all are great decades for music.

sure there's the odd good album every now and then but for me, most of the truly good stuff is pre mid 90's .. 80s,70s,60s..

my favourite albums all time are from mid nineties. So for me nineties until present day is the best era of music. So much heterogeneity :D

I'm not really one to put rose-tinted glasses and pick a decade out of nostalgia. Today there's more diversity and more offer, fact :o

I like the '70s the best for Rock, Proto Metal, etc, For Blues I really like the Cobra and Stax era but Buddy Guy is still cranking out some killer stuff but when it comes to Jazz I prefer the '50s and '60s.

Sorry for the look of this thread. :o The story behind those " $#%$@#$%" is that we used to have a different forum on another platform, then we moved and that's the result. But happens only with the old threads :tard2:
And Buddy Guy is awesome. I listened to some of his stuff! exceptional.
